Recession Haiku
-
i remember when
brother can you spare a dime
was just an old song -
We set a big feast
Ate like kings, now were hungry
Where are the leftovers? -
Main Street seeks in vain
Prosperity elusive.
Wall Street shrugs it off. -
Waiting in the line
For the privilege of paying.
I cant afford it. -
I am a student
among thousands who need jobs.
A leaf on the wind. -
"When the tide goes out,"
Warren Buffett sagely said,
Warren Buffett sagely said,
"naked swimmers blush."
"naked swimmers blush."" starColor="Golden" permalink="http://www.fiscalhaiku.com/haiku/haiku/?storyId=31461" uniq="/31461">
